An Interview with dewayne lasseter
Dewayne Lasseter called from his Birmingham, Alabama home to talk about his 85 years of life, beginning with his growing up years on a farm. He shared about years of hard work plowing and milking cows, beginning those long days at 3 a.m., and squeezing in school during the day. He also talked about growing up without electricity until the 12th grade, and listening to the radio as a family.
Dewayne shared his years working as a pastor, sharing about how much he loved the intimacy of relating to people during pivotal times in their lives. Of course, he also talked with tremendous affection and adoration about his marriage to his wife Janice, about his four children, and 11 grandchildren. Don’t miss the part when Dewayne talks about his famous sourdough bread — named “Granddaddy Bread” by his grandchildren. Enjoy this delightful interview with Dewayne Lasseter.
